Why we gather

Capable is half a man.

Here is what happens to a man who gets trained and goes home alone.

Nothing. For about three weeks he feels ten feet tall. Then it fades, and all he has left is a patch and a story he tells too often.

Skill without brotherhood is a hobby. Worse, it is a lone wolf, and a lone wolf is exactly what we built this brotherhood to stop producing.

So we stay three days. Water. Trees. No conference center. No hotel ballroom carpet.

Fire to Fire is what we do in living rooms every other week across the country. Fire to Fire X is what happens when those fires come to one place at one time.
